A comparison of three assays used for the in vitro chemosensitivity testing of human tumours

摘要: In this study cell lines have been used to determine the level of correlation between three assays which are in use for vitro prediction human tumour chemosensitivity. The methods were compared included a clonogenic assay, monolayer assay and short-term biochemical assay. results indicated that either directly comparable or could be made by reducing drug exposure time also gave 3 5 drugs tested. It was concluded although did not produce identical dose-response curves, equally valid when predictive testing because selection cut-off points based on retrospective correlations sensitivity data response data, as established other authors, compensated differences assays.
