摘要: Abstract This chapter describes the mechanical properties of POFs, such as Young’s modulus, strain, stress, or strength, which result relevant in performance well aging and fabrication new POF designs. All these physical vary drastically depending on designed type, going from conventional step-index POFs (SI-POF) to hollow-core solid-core microstructured (mPOF), multicore (MCPOF) dye-doped POFs. The begins with a description key parameters that characterize Afterwards, review available different geometries, sizes materials is performed. Finally, models for thermoplastic polymers are summarized. use will be helpful design process optimized types.
