摘要: A  methodology is presented to assess the environmental status sensu Marine Strategy Water Framework Directive (MSFD) based on data obtained from monitoring of water quality in Hellenic coastal waters within (WFD).   An adapted decision tree used for integrating results WFD Basque country was applied. Modifications lie evaluation physicochemical a eutrophication index developed Eastern Mediterranean waters. Results hydromorphological, and biological elements are presented. The chemical evaluated measurements heavy metals water. use metrics phytoplankton biomass, benthic macroinvertebrates macroalgae updated accommodate MSFD needs. integrative bodies were validated by correlating classification with pressure indicators column sediment. Following this majority stations expected be at risk achieving good found moderate status. Benthos element closest agreement integrated final having an increased weighting tree. benthos some  limited cases  determined largely highest disagreement produced macroalgae. All correlated sediment parameters but better factors while parameters.
