摘要: Multistate capture–recapture models continue to be employed with greater frequency test hypotheses about metapopulation dynamics and life history, more recently disease dynamics. In recent years efforts have begun adjust these for cases where there is uncertainty an animal’s state upon capture. These can categorized into that permit misclassification between two states occur in either direction or one direction, certain a subset of individuals always uncertain, estimation based on sampling occasion per period interest multiple occasions period. State also arises modeling patch occupancy I consider several case studies involving bird marine mammal illustrate how misclassified arise, outline model structures properly utilizing the data are produced. each occurs only (thus patches known certainty), interest. For allude general structure could include example as special case. However, this collection illustrates difficult it develop directly useful answering every ecological question account type from field.
