摘要: This paper provides the first description of exploitation floral resources Ceiba pubiflora by birds in Neotropical region. We sampled five different specimens C. , focusing on plant-bird and bird intra/interspecific aggressive interactions. recorded thirteen species exploiting its resources. Only hummingbirds are potential pollinators feeding effectively flower corolla. Hylocharis chrysura Heliomaster furcifer were considered best dominated agonistic On other hand, Icterus cayanensis tanagers pierced at base corolla, drinking nectar directly, without contacting pollen. Psittacidae ( Aratinga nenday, Brotogeris chiriri Amazona aestiva ) Saltator coerulescens destroyed flowers petals. Although they ineffective pollinators, petals valuable food for these birds, when fruits scarce during dry season.
