摘要: YBa2Cu3O7 films have been grown epitaxially on SrTiO3 (100) and LaAlO3 substrates with nearly pure a-axis orientation transition temperature Tc (R = 0) of 85 K. A unique feature these is their smooth surface. These surfaces enable the growth short-period superlattices well-defined modulations. The are untwinned grains grow c-axis along one two perpendicular directions substrate ([100] or [010]). fabrication sandwich-type Josephson junctions good characteristics may now be possible because unlike c-axis—oriented films, superconducting coherence length appreciably large to surfaces.
