摘要: Purpose Robot-assisted neck dissection (ND) in patients with head and cancer has been developed as a plausible substitute for conventional surgery it provides an excellent cosmetic outcome. The authors hypothesized that submandibular gland (SMG) could be achieved a gasless retroauricular (RA) approach using the robotic system. This study evaluated feasibility of robot-assisted ND RA SMG cancer. Patients Methods Primary tumor resection incision was performed 6 Results All cases combined primary were conducted successfully without any significant intraoperative complication, need additional incision, or conversion to open ND. amount duration drainage, length hospital stay, number retrieved lymph nodes, complications generally acceptable. postoperative scar completely hidden by auricle hair. Conclusions excision is feasible useful method, results, surgical treatment selected
