Efficient CW color center laser operation in the 1.7 to 2.2 μm range based on F+ 2 -like centers in KCl: Na+:O- 2 crystals

摘要: Abstract A new color center laser is described which based on F + 2 -like centers in additively colored KCl:Na :O - crystals. Pumped by the 1.32/1.34 μm lines of a Nd 3+ :YAG laser, cw operation has been obtained with wide tuning range from ≈ 1.71 to 2.15 μm. At 3W pump power output ≈270 mW at 1.9 peak curve. In order maintain nonfading 77 K crystal be irradiated auxilliary band light.
