摘要: Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) are neoplasms arising in the wall of gastrointestinal tract that frequently show evidence smooth muscle differentiation, either by their appearance alone or immunohistology. A significant number these fail to react with any markers however. subset have epithelioid features, and presence features can give rise confusion other neoplasms, such as carcinomas melanomas. Here we CD34 monoclonal antibody My10 reacts 19 23 (83%) lesions, including both those without features. Five 10 one 13 spindled lacked detectable muscle-specific actin (MSA), (SMA), desmin; all six were reactive. Immunoblotting experiments antigen on has a molecular weight identical found hematopoietic cells.
