摘要: Phenotypic and genetic characteristics of Shigella spp. isolated from diarrhoeal asymptomatic children aged up to 5 years were analysed in this study. In total, 91 17 isolates identified (case) (control) children, respectively. All the tested for antimicrobial resistance, presence integrons, plasmid-mediated quinolone resistance (PMQR), virulence-associated genes pathogenicity island (SH-PAI). The majority cases (68.1 %) controls (82.3 %) found be resistant fluoroquinolones. Integron carriage was detected more (76.9 %) than (35.5 %). Atypical class 1 integron exclusively Shigella flexneri but not controls. PMQR such as aac(6′)-Ib-cr qnrS1 82.4  14.3 % 53 17.6 % controls, well positive invasive plasmid antigen H-encoding gene ipaH. other virulence virF, sat, setA, setB, sen ial 80.2, 49.4, 27.4, 80.2 79.1 % 64.7, 52.9, 17.6, 64.7 64.7 % entire SH-PAI S. flexneri serotype 2a an isolate a control child, truncated. Integrons, virulence-encoding frequently diarrhoea endemic areas, carriers may play crucial role transmission multidrug-resistant with all putative genes.
