摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter summarizes the structural and conformational studies of large molecules, particularly those biochemical importance. The 13 C nmr carbohydrates, nucleic acids their constituents, proteins residues, lipids macromolecular model systems are discussed. Brief references made on determinations spin-lattice relaxation times. Utilization these methods for obtaining information molecular motions interactions is described. relative simplicity proton-decoupled spectra increasingly being utilized identification correlation polysaccharides obtained from different natural synthetic sources. Nuclear magnetic resonance amino-acids, peptides, proteins, summarized. states that micellar surfactants macrocyclic compounds extensively investigated as possible models more complex enzyme-substrate catalyses. Substrate solubilization, either by dynamic association with micelles or incorporation in cavities compounds, saturation kinetics, competitive inhibition some degree specificity observed all support utility enzyme models.
