摘要: Mitochondria have two sets of RNAs. One is encoded in mitochondrial genome, and the other that consists imported RNAs within mitochondria cytosolic associated with outer membrane nucleus. These play important roles mitochondrion biosynthesis signaling out mitochondria. Isolation analysis can provide useful information on understanding regulation cellular processes. However, several ribonuclease activities been found mitochondria, which will degrade during isolation process if they are not properly inactivated. Here, we describe an improved method to inactivate prior RNA extraction, thus a reliable protocol isolate mammalian for quantitative RT-PCR assays.
