摘要: Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the most common and aggressive form of brain cancer in adults. GBM carries a dismal prognosis because its proliferative, invasive, angiogenic capabilities ability to downregulate immune system. Immune-based therapies under investigation for have been unsuccessful vivo this downregulation. Cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) high-energy state matter that can be applied directly or indirectly tumor tissue serve as an adjunct immunotherapy treatment it upregulates system by induction reactive oxygen species. CAP has potential improve efficacy existing investigative immunotherapies GBM.
