摘要: Measurement of dc charging current and space-charge observations, performed on specimens made by low-density polyethylene (PE) crosslinked PE, are considered for electrical threshold investigation. The is inferred from charging-current measurements through steady-state voltage-current characteristics, as well the total trapped charge, obtained carried out at 0 V under short-circuit after poling a pre-selected time. It shown that both techniques provide similar information regarding values, which vary two tested materials. Being associated with mechanisms charge storage, its evaluation can help in insulation design material characterization when electric field, especially dc, significant stress service. Other purposes comes rate accumulation function applied estimated charge-field characteristic derived measurements.
