摘要: Acute flare up of hepatitis B in noncirrhotic liver with rapid function deterioration is a critical condition. This may be subsided under medical treatments, otherwise urgent transplantation needed. However, the necessity hard to decide. In this institute, indications for acute were settled according model end-stage disease (MELD) scores: once upon MELD scores ≥35 (criterion 1) or score < 35 at beginning and increased subsequent 1 2 weeks 2). study was examine whether score criteria valid such an Eighty-three patients having virus total bilirubin ≥17.5 mg/dL included study. Among 83 patients, 20 met criterion 1. Five transplanted 15 died failure median survival 17 days. Fifty-one 2. Nineteen transplanted, 30 23.5 days, recovered from The other 12 did not meet 2, spared although 5 needed 3 months. Therefore, sensitivity 100% specificity 85.7%. conclusion, determination crucial. are make decision failure.
