摘要: We explored the potential of teleoperated android robots, which are embodied telecommunication media with humanlike appearances, and how they affect people in real world when employed to express a telepresence sense 'being there'. In Denmark, our exploratory study focused on social aspects Telenoid, android, might facilitate communication between senior citizens Telenoid's operator. After applying it elderly their homes, we found that assumed positive attitudes toward positivity strong attachment its huggable minimalistic human design were cross-culturally shared Denmark Japan. Contrary negative reactions by non-users reports, result suggests androids can be accepted as kind universal medium for inclusion.
