摘要: In recent years, the surface chemistry community has actively pursued design and generation of stimuli-responsive platforms or dynamic surfaces to control interface between cells a solid support. Surface properties can be manipulated through photoactivation, electrochemical potential, pH change, addition biochemical signal, with aim mimicking extracellular matrix inducing cellular behavior. This chapter describes advances in development utility self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) as dynamic, model substrates for cell biology.
