摘要: Eucalyptus bridgesiana, Cymbopogon martinii, Thymus vulgaris, Lindernia anagallis, and Pelargonium fragrans are five species of herbs used in Asia. Their essential oils were analyzed by GC-MS, a total 36 components detected. The results our study indicated that, except for the oil P. fragrans, all demonstrated obvious antimicrobial activity against broad range microorganisms. C. martinii oil, which is rich geraniol, was most effective additive. All antioxidant activities on 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging assay, β-carotene/linoleic acid nitric oxide assay. Furthermore, T. vulgaris possesses plentiful thymol, exhibited highest activity. For acnes-induced secretion pro-inflammatory cytokines, aeruginosa, reduced TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-8 levels THP-1 cells.
