摘要: Currently, a relevant proportion of all histopathologically proven focal cortical dysplasia (FCD) escape visual detection; this shows the need for additional improvements in analyzing MRI data. A positive is still strongest prognostic factor postoperative freedom seizures. Among several post-processing methods voxel-based morphometry (VBM) T1- and T2-weighted sequences T2 relaxometry are routinely applied pre-surgical diagnostics cryptogenic epilepsy centers. VBM superior to conventional analysis with 9-15% more identified epileptogenic foci, while has its main application (mesial) temporal lobe epilepsy. Further such as surface-based (SBM) or diffusion tensor imaging promising but there lack current studies comparing their individual diagnostic value. Post-processing represent an important addition be interpreted expertise experience so that they should apprehended complementary tool within context multi-modal evaluation patients. This review will give overview existing structural outline clinical relevance detection changes.
