摘要: Abstract Background: In adenocarcinoma of the colon and rectum, obstruction perforation may occur either alone or together at site neoplasm proximally. Both events carry a poor prognosis. This retrospective study sought to determine whether correlation exists between obstruction, these conditions different clinicopathological factors in colorectal adenocarcinoma. Methods: The medical records 1950 patients with treated our hospital during 7-year period were retrospectively analyzed. One hundred (5%) excluded from this because loss follow-up. Data on including age, sex, tumor location, surgical mortality, pathological type, stage, long-time cancer-free rate simultaneously Patients grouped as follows: Group 1, complete colonic without (n = 120); 2, cancer 35); 3, proximal 13); 4, nonobstructing, nonperforated cancers 1682). Results: When compared 1 had more advanced Dukes' older greater incidence versus rectal cancers, poorer survival ( P ≤ .005). Groups 2 3 .004), operative mortality 5-year survival) female gender .035), well-differentiated pathology location Conclusions: perioperative for perforated was 9%; obstructive cancer, 5%. Perioperative much perforations rectum occurring (31%). Survival worse
