摘要: Total dissolved carbohydrates and their monosaccharide polysaccharide fractions were studied at a fixed sampling point in the northern Adriatic Sea off Pesaro, Italy, 2002, 2003, 2004 which characterized by presence of macroaggregates, 2001 2005 when macroaggregates absent. During 2004, study was extended to southern part Gulf Trieste, Slovenia. In parallel, phytoplankton biomass determined from chlorophyll concentration, nitrogen phosphorus nutrients tracked. The concentrations total and, above all, polysaccharides higher late spring early summer before during mucilage appearance. Conversely, monosaccharides remained nearly constant throughout period. addition other hydrological, chemical biological factors seem also important for macroaggregate formation Sea. Among them, DIN/PO4 3– ratios, regularly increasing due use nitrate phosphate, could be indicative appearance since they lower while 2003 markedly increased.
