摘要: In the agricultural landscape, thousands of animals are killed yearly as a result machinery innovation, mostly because higher harvesting speed and wider cutting bars. Harvesting machines besides predation by red fox (Vulpes vulpes L.) on roe deer (Capreolus capreolus in intensively managed cultural landscape most crucial factor fawn mortality. This article offers an evaluation used preventive methods, which aim to drive does along with their fawns out fodder meadows prepared for harvest Czech Republic. Evaluation efficiency effectiveness different methods was made based questionnaire survey published professional hunting journal. The assessment responses from followed field-based investigation conducted before harvesting. devices studied were acoustic, optical scent deterrents comparison traditional search method combined volunteers dogs. results show differences number saved per hectare. A significant difference found only between deterrent (0.4 hectare) (0.09 hectare). study no substantial among various deterring terms reducing mortality fawns. Thus, it is important explore innovative future that can work effectively saving not fawns, but also other game landscape.
