Running a gauntlet: a review of victimization and violence in the pre-entry, post-entry, and peri-/post-exit periods of commercial sexual exploitation

摘要: International sex trafficking and domestic prostitution are each forms of commercial sexual exploitation (CSE), CSE typically encompasses a gauntlet victimization violence for its victims. Girls women subjected to not only damaged during their involvement in the industry, but they suffer maltreatment related factors before enter into it again as endeavor leave it. In this article we review common risk associated with entry trade traumas commonly experienced while industry psychological sequelae, challenges surrounding, longer-term impact of, endeavoring exit industry. We describe complex conditions present at these three stages (pre-entry, post-entry, peri-/post-exit) how result treating population.
