摘要: The proliferative potential of two common histologic variants ameloblastoma was investigated immunohistochemically using Ki-67 antibody on routinely processed, formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections. Thirty cases ameloblastomas (15 follicular and 15 plexiform type) were analyzed. Autoclave heating pretreatment employed at 121 degrees C for 20 min prior to analysis. This retrieval method allowed immunoreactive sites the antigen become exposed thus available immunohistochemical reaction. We found that expressed localized within nucleus tumor cells in both ameloblastomas. Immunoreactive peripheral area islands as well central stellate reticulum-area. labeling rate higher (3.68%) than type (1.78%). Results suggest cell proliferation different depending variation tumor. Further, type.
