摘要: BACKGROUND Sleep disturbances are be poorly documented by primary care physicians. OBJECTIVE Our objective for this survey was to assess the awareness level amongst medical and dental house officers, practitioners, ear, nose throat specialists (ENTs) regarding OSA its effects on daily life. METHODS This a questionnaire-based with yes no true false type questions. In order knowledge, questions related most common signs symptoms of were selected. Questionnaires distributed in seven colleges Karachi, Pakistan under graduates above. Stratified random sampling technique used specific professionals which made total sample size 614. The data descriptive study compiled analyzed using SPSS version 20. RESULTS 84% participants stated their about OSA. After analyzing detailed response form questionnaires, an average only 15% showed adequate knowledge problem question, rest unaware pathophysiology, signs, management patient suffering from CONCLUSION pathophysiology obstructive sleep apnea effect routine work is insufficient among health professionals. It essential create fraternity as it often not diagnosed treated.
