摘要: Abstract The electrochromic (EC) behavior, the microstructure, and morphology of sol–gel deposited nickel oxide (NiOx) coatings were investigated. films produced by spin dip-coating techniques on indium tin (ITO)/glass Corning glass (2947) substrates. coating solutions prepared reacting nickel(II) 2-ethylhexanoate as precursor, isopropanol solvent. NiOx was heat treated at 350 °C for 1 h. surface morphology, crystal structure, EC characteristics investigated scanning electron microscopy (SEM), dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), atomic force (AFM), X-ray diffractometry (XRD), cyclic voltammetry (CV). SEM AFM images revealed that spin- dip-coated both types substrate different. XRD spectra amorphous, either ITO or CV showed a reversible electrochemical insertion extraction K+ ions, cycled in 1 M KOH electrolyte, type film. structure found to be amorphous. Spectroelectrochemistry demonstrated more stable up 1000 coloration–bleaching cycles, whereas spin-coated gradually degraded after 500 cycles.
