摘要: PURPOSE Compared with other forms of non-small cell lung cancer, pulmonary lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma (LELC) is rarer and portends better outcomes. We sought to investigate the prognostic role clinical impact pretreatment F-FDG PET in LELC. METHODS A total 71 patients LELC were identified through a retrospective review records. Of them, 41 underwent for primary staging. Outcomes assessed using Kaplan-Meier method Cox regression models forward stepwise selection procedure. Staging changes served as main outcome measure assessing PET. For purpose analyses, all restaged according American Joint Committee on Cancer Manual eighth edition. RESULTS Stage significantly independent predictors overall survival (OS) multivariate analysis. Five-year OS rates stages I-II, III-IVA, IVB 92.3%, 70.4%, 20.0%, respectively. The use staging purposes was associated (P = 0.003). Specifically, 5-year who staged without 85.4% 49.7%, respectively 0.012). resulted disease upstage 28.6% CT-defined III-IVA; 14.3% upstaged disease. CONCLUSIONS edition stage factors imaging corresponding optimization therapeutic interventions, which ultimately improved
