Enhancement in wheat leaf photophosphorylation and photosynthesis by spraying low concentration of NaHSO3

摘要: Spraying 1–2 mmol/L NaHSO3 on the leaf of wheat results in enhancement photosynthesis leaves for about 3 d. The amount ATP has been increased and millisecond delayed light emission enhanced, showing that transmembrane proton motive force related to photophosphorylation is increased. PMS (a cofactor catalyzing cycle photophosphorylation) separately or together leaves, 20% increase observed all treatments. There no additive effect when a mixture applied, suggesting mechanism promotion similar PMS, both them enhance supply ATP.
