摘要: Abstract Purpose: We report results from a clinical research protocol investigating circulating pro-inflammatory cytokines (interleukin-6 [IL-6] and tumor necrosis factor α [TNFα]) in relation to radiation pulmonary injury. Methods Materials: In for cytokine measurement, 25 patients had follow-up longer than 12 months, 24 serial data. Serial plasma specimens before, during, after thoracic radiotherapy were analyzed IL-6 TNFα using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Radiation injury was defined National Cancer Institute Common Toxicity Criteria. Results: Of the patients, 6 Grade 1 pneumonitis, 13 2 pneumonitis. There no 3/4 Median time of pneumonitis between 8 weeks post-therapy. levels therapy significantly higher those who developed contrast, we did not detect significant correlation Conclusions: High pretreatment predisposed risk Pretreatment level may serve as predictor consistently group. The role cascades that promote deserves further investigation.
