摘要: Airway inflammation is a characteristic of many lung disorders, including asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Using murine model allergen-induced asthma, we have demonstrated that adenovirus-mediated delivery the nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) inhibitory protein ABIN-1 to epithelium results in considerable reduction eosinophil infiltration into lungs. This associated with an ABIN-1-induced decrease allergen-specific immunoglobulin E levels serum, as well significant eotaxin, interleukin-4, interleukin-1β bronchoalveolar lavage fluid. These findings not only prove NF-κB plays critical role pathogenesis allergic but also illustrate inhibiting could therapeutic value treatment potentially other inflammatory diseases.
