摘要: Abstract The Electrochemistry of Sb, Bi, and Te in AlCl3–NaCl–KCl molten salt containing SbCl3, BiCl3, and/or TeCl4 at 423 K was investigated by voltammetry, electrodeposition the three metals performed under constant potential control melt. voltammogram on a glassy carbon (GC) electrode melt 0.025 mol dm−3 [M] SbCl3 showed couple redox peak corresponding to Sb/Sb(III) reaction, stable layer pure Sb deposited control. voltammograms 0.025 M BiCl3 or several couples. Stable deposit layers Bi were not obtained control, as detached from immediately dissolved into salt. Binary alloy deposition possible also with TeCl4. A Bi–Sb metallic solid solution 0.8 0.9 V versus Al/Al(III) SbCl3. atomic ratio 37% 57% 0.8 V. Bi–Te consisted mixture Bi2Te3, BiTe, Bi2Te. had good crystallinity preferential orientation (1 1 0) plane.
