摘要: Titanium matrix composites (TMCs) is considered as a candidate material for landing gear structures of the aircraft, which requires damage tolerant consideration. In order to investigate behavior SiC-fiber/titanium subjected foreign object impact, low-velocity impact experiments are conducted. Finite element modeling simulate TMCs developed considering plastic deformation and damages. Numerical results mechanical response compared with experimental results. It shown that can capture TMCs. last part present study, prototype TMC structure fabricated. Impact residual compressive strength evaluated, numerical simulation.
