摘要: Titanium matrix (Ti6Al4V) composites reinforced with TiB2 and TiC were produced through powder metallurgy method. The effect of addition both different contents (2.5 wt%, 5.0 wt% 7.5 wt%) on the density, microstructure hardness properties titanium was investigated. size distributions alloy reinforcement particles measured by particle analyzer. Microhardness sintered evaluated using Vickers’s tester a normal load 3 N dwell time 10 s. Ti6Al4V Ti6Al4V/TiB2–TiC characterized X-ray diffraction (XRD) field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) equipped energy-dispersive spectrometer (EDS). enriches alloy. composite features dense pore-free varying distribution in metal matrix. results this study show that development new phases plays significant role these materials.
