In vitro steroidogenesis by testicular fragments and ovarian follicles in a hybrid sturgeon, Bester

摘要: In this study, developmental changes in the steroidogenic capacity of testicular fragments and isolated ovarian follicles a hybrid sturgeon, Bester, at variety stage developments were examined. Testicular or incubated L-15 medium presence absence different concentrations five preparations; forskolin, human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG), pregnenolone (P5), 17α-hydroxyprogesterone (17αOHP) testosterone (T) for 18 h 15 °C. After incubation, 11-ketotestosterone (11 KT) (testis) and, 17β-estradiol (E2) (ovarian follicles) 17α,20β-dihydroxy-4-pregnen-3-one (DHP) (testis measured. 11KT was detected media following incubation with P5, 17αOHP T. Its concentration higher during late spermatogenesis prespermiation lower degeneration stage. Both P5 converted to DHP Forskolin had little stimulatory effect on synthesis HCG did not induce production these steroids.
