摘要: Abstract Many diets employed in aquaculture are enriched with selenium to improve the diet quality and its conservation. The aim of study was investigate effects a (1.21 mg kg −1 ) on antioxidant response Procambarus clarkii (Girard, 1852). Crayfish fed lower content (0.30 mg kg were control. Selenium accumulation, enzymatic activities, total glutathione evaluated hepatopancreas adults both sexes for 50 days at two experimental times ( T 30 , days). Treated females exhibited highest bioaccumulation during times, while treated males displayed concentration after days, compared control crayfish. A sex-related difference found analyzed enzymes diet-treated specimens. In fact, superoxide dismutase, peroxidase glyoxalase I activities more sensitive females, showing depleted times. Catalase activity induced ), S -transferase lowest males, own controls. Only reductase showed same trend sexes, which lowered specimens, when This result might be due effect toxicity this freshwater species. Males P. different susceptibility prooxidant Se-enriched diet.
