摘要: Inner ear damage can be caused by viral infections, trauma, vascular damage, and immune mechanisms, is responsible for sensorineural hearing loss, a syndrome characterized rapid progression of impairment that frequently non-responsive to medical treatment. Immune-mediated inner disease autoimmune origin either as an isolated process affecting only the ear, considered organ-specific disease, or part systemic disorder in approximately 30% cases. The incidence prevalence unknown due lack reliable diagnostic tests limited access site aggression. Since administration steroids and/or other immunosuppressive agents may result preservation, great effort needed order find both clinical immunological features able identify these patients. Animal models help this clarify largely pathophysiology response therapy.
