摘要: Abstract This paper analyzes the reliability of fracture mechanics approach to environmentally assisted cracking in engineering design. A wide collection experimental evidences uncertainty characteristics phenomenon—the crack growth kinetics v(K) -curve and threshold stress intensity factor K th — is presented. Although these basic items are supposed depend solely on material environment, they notably sensitive influence a family test/service variables, producing loss confidence materials evaluation structural integrity assessment.
