RANS Simulations of a Series of Turbulent V-Shaped Flames using Conditional Source-term Estimation

摘要: In the present study, Reynolds Averaged Navier Stokes (RANS) simulations are applied to a series of turbulent V-shaped flames. Two formulations Conditional Source-term Estimation (CSE) developed using singly and doubly conditioned averages for premixed partially flames, respectively. Detailed chemistry is included. Conditionally averaged chemical source terms closed by conditional scalars which obtained inverting an integral equation. The objectives study flame CSE approach apply Doubly (DCSE) combustion model case stratified combustion. implementation involves double conditioning on two variables, mixture fraction progress variable. represents first application DCSE First, analysed fully conditions. A sensitivity analysis number ensembles different scalar dissipation closures performed. Good results in velocity variable profiles. Finally, formulation at three conditions, corresponding turbulence grids profiles equivalence ratio, providing promising results.
