摘要: We investigate statistical properties of the traffic especially for ADSL broadband access platforms, which have been widely deployed in recent years. Measurement traces aggregated are evaluated on multiple time scales and show an unexpected smooth profile with less relevance long range correlation than experienced from Ethernet LANs. A reason different characteristics lies shift to increasing population residential users generating most IP platforms via access. In addition, data transfer protocols peer-to-peer networks strengthen smoothing effect observed current profiles.
