摘要: We investigated the effects of cohort, sex, litter size and time birth on weights postnatal growth rates roe deer fawns in a highly reproductive Norwegian population. By repeatedly recapturing radio-collared individuals, total 950 were obtained from 231 known age. In accordance with earlier studies, there was period linear during first month following birth. Mean 155 g/day are highest yet recorded for deer; however, mean lower than those reported populations continental Europe. During growth, we found no sex differences. However, affected both by size; born early had or after peak calving period, triplet – groups either twin single fawns. Despite fourfold increase population density study, this factor not able to explain variation rates, although cohort weight evident.
