摘要: This research examined 48 stations seeking FCC license renewal in 1992 and assessed their efforts to fulfill the programming requirements of Children's Television Act 1990. The study found that reported a weekly average roughly three half hours educational specifically designed for children, although many programs claimed were questionable value. Many evidenced shortcomings either correctly completing applications and/or properly satisfying obligations. data are interpreted as demonstrating inadequate performance by broadcasters response new legislative requirements.
