摘要: The machinability of a 30 wt% glass fiber reinforced polyamide (PA) was investigated by means drilling tests. A disk cut from an extruded rod and drilled on the flat surface: thrust acquired during at different speed, feed rate drill diameter. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) indentation were used to characterize PA so as evaluate intrinsic lack homogeneity material. In conclusion, it observed that chip for- mation mechanism affects dependence machining parameters. traditional modeling approach is able predict only in presence continuous chip. some conditions, increases speed decreases; this evidence suggests not consider general scientific which deals plastics analogy with metals. Moreover, can be significantly affected workpiece fabrication effect, well parameters; therefore, effect negligible definition optimum for machin- ing process.
