摘要: Nucleic acid nanotechnology designs and develops synthetic nucleic strands to fabricate nanosized functional systems. Structural properties the conformational polymorphism of sequences are inherent characteristics that make nanostructures attractive systems in biosensing. This review critically discusses recent advances biosensing derived from molecular beacon DNA origami structures. Molecular beacons belong a conventional class structures used biosensing, whereas fabricated by fully exploiting possibilities offered nanotechnology. We present scaffolds divided into hairpin origami, discuss some relevant examples focusing on peculiar aspects exploited applications. also evaluate analytical uses point out similarities differences between traditional origami.
