摘要: The Mariana Islands lie well within the vast "malaria-free" region of central and south Pacific Ocean. However, Anopheles indefinitus was discovered on Guam in 1948, an additional four species were collected island during 1970-75. Early malaria cases diagnosed as relapsing infections with disease having been contracted other areas. Small outbreaks recorded 1966 1969, autochthonous indicated both.
