摘要: Mosquitoes and the pathogens they transmit are ubiquitous throughout most of temperate tropical regions world. The natural pre-European distribution diversity mosquitoes mosquito-borne diseases much Pacific region, however, depicts a depauperate relatively benign fauna reinforcing dream “paradise regained”. In central South few mosquito species were able to colonize remotest islands atolls. Native limited far-ranging island endemics typically restricted genera Aedes Culex. Only lymphatic filariasis appears have been present as an endemic disease before European contact. nearby Australia, some 242 known occur more than 70 arboviruses identified (Mackenzie 1999). this regard Australia is similar rest tropic subtropical world smaller Oceania. our ever-shrinking global commerce, military activity travel, nature in was bound change. This paper brief summary introduced their potential impacts on human wildlife health.
