摘要: Current research suggests that gifted students possess a unique set of characteristics require skills and knowledge to address properly. School counselors are in position the needs provided they have required for effective interaction. called provide multiple services all school setting; among those advocate student as well maintain level will facilitate advocacy. Although current literature students, is limited area counselor advocacy no studies addressed self-efficacy students. The purpose this study was investigate how self-efficacy, issues, understanding professional competencies relate counselors’ activities with Quantitative methodology used answer questions. Professional completed series four instruments comprised survey study. Participants either online or on paper between months January June 2011. SPSS Version 19.0 Windows complete statistical analyses study, which included descriptive statistics, factor analysis, regression. results indicated giftedness, building level, significantly predicted competency activity However, training program years experience were not significant predictors Implications increased In order appropriate it important increase their population.
