摘要: Abstract Computer simulation has been used as an aid in the interpretation of field-ion patterns from interstitial alloys. Programmes were run for iridium oxide, cementite and tungsten carbide. The small number spots experimental images these materials may be ascribed part to larger effective atomic volume visible species. In addition there appears a decrease shell thickness compared that pure metal. This contrasts with case substitutional ordered alloys where is increase thickness.
