摘要: Forty-four patients with chronic or recurrent candidiasis of the dermis, mucous membranes, both, have been studied in relation to associated diseases. Thirty-one (Group I) had at least one disease. Thirteen II) only candidiasis. Neonates oral moniliasis, children debilitation, and receiving antibiotics were eliminated from study. Idiopathic hypoparathyroidism was most common disease Group I (26 31 patients). Addison9s also (14 Hypothyroidism, alopecia, cirrhosis, pernicious anemia, primary gonadal failure occurred. Evidence for subclinical thyroid, adrenal cortex, gastric mucosa, as reflected by tissue specific antibodies, Anti-kidney antibodies found 18 patients, but their significance is unclear. No etiological relationship between diseases could be demonstrated.
