Turkish historical arch bridges and their deteriorations and failures

摘要: Abstract Preservation and conservation of historical structures are the major points for continuity history. Therefore, in order to develop suitable restoration projects without neglecting any unique cultural values, it is very important determine present conditions these structures. In this paper, aimed architectural engineering properties Turkish arch bridges. For purpose, deteriorations construction materials, damage failure patterns occurred masonry bridges classified discussed using some illustrated photos. Some practices have been carried out by General Directorate Highways briefly discussed.
