Apparatus for measurement of coefficient of friction

摘要: An apparatus designed to measure the coefficient of friction in certain controlled atmospheres is described. The observed during high-load tests was nearly constant, with an average value 0.56. This general agreement that found literature and also initial 0.67 measured self-mated 440C steel oxygen environment.
